PRANIC HEALING
An Ancient Practice for
Modern Times

By: Umesh Moolrajani (Certified Pranic Healer) • 13 July 2024

Pranic Healing is an ancient practice that aims to harness the body's innate ability to heal itself using the life force, or "prana," that flows through all living things.

Rooted in the belief that energy imbalances can lead to physical and emotional ailments, Pranic Healing involves the manipulation of this vital energy to restore harmony and promote well-being.

It has demonstrated significant benefits in managing and alleviating various health conditions, including Cancer, Diabetes, Blood Pressure issues, High CholesterolMigraines and many more.

By employing specific techniques to cleanse and energize the body's energy centers, or chakras, practitioners of Pranic Healing strive to remove blockages and facilitate the natural healing process. This holistic approach, developed by Master Choa Kok Sui, emphasizes the power of intention and the subtle energies that surround us.

Understand the Science behind Pranic Healing in 5 Steps

  1. Energy Assessment:
The practitioner begins by scanning your energy field, or aura, to detect areas of congestion or depletion. This assessment helps in identifying the chakras that are blocked or imbalanced, which are believed to be the root cause of physical or emotional issues.

  2. Energy Cleansing:
Once the problematic areas are identified, the practitioner uses sweeping hand movements to remove the negative or stagnant energy from your aura and chakras. This is often done without physical touch, relying on the practitioner’s ability to manipulate energy.

  3. Energy Energizing:
After cleansing, fresh prana is directed into the cleansed areas. This step is crucial for revitalizing the energy body and supporting the natural healing mechanisms. The practitioner may draw prana from the surroundings or use their own energy to transfer to the patient.

  4. Stabilizing:
The newly introduced prana is then stabilized within the energy body to ensure it remains balanced and doesn't disperse too quickly. This helps in maintaining the benefits of the session for a longer period.

  5. Repeat and Reinforce:
Healing is often an ongoing process. Multiple sessions may be necessary to fully address deep-seated issues and to reinforce the energy adjustments made during previous sessions. Practitioners might also teach clients specific breathing exercises or meditation techniques to support the healing process between sessions.

Top 5 Things to Know Before Going for Pranic Healing

  1. Understanding the Basics:
Pranic Healing is not a replacement for conventional medical treatment but a complementary therapy. It works on the energy body, which, according to practitioners, influences the physical body. Before your first session, it's beneficial to familiarize yourself with basic concepts such as prana, chakras, and energy cleansing to better understand the process.

  2. Finding a Qualified Practitioner:
Ensure that your Pranic Healing practitioner is certified and experienced. Reputable practitioners will have undergone rigorous training and adhere to a code of ethics. They should be able to explain the process clearly and address any concerns you may have.

  3. Personal Readiness:
Reflect on your openness to alternative healing methods. Pranic Healing requires a certain level of belief in the energy-based approach. If you’re skeptical but curious, approach your session with an open mind and a willingness to experience something new.

  4. Session Expectations:
A typical Pranic Healing session involves a consultation to discuss your issues, followed by the practitioner scanning your energy field to identify imbalances. The practitioner will then cleanse, energize, and stabilize your chakras using specific hand movements and visualization techniques. It's a non-invasive process, and you remain fully clothed.

  5. Commitment to Follow-up:
Healing is often a gradual process that may require multiple sessions. Be prepared to commit to a series of treatments and follow any advice given by your practitioner regarding lifestyle changes, diet, and exercises to enhance the healing process.
